Cherokee-M Construction - Nosecone
June 28-29, 2003:
More overkill. Laminating the nosecone bulkead and the centering ring that will secure the bulkead to the nosecone. Aeropoxy (R2032 Resin and PH3660 hardener), as usual, but this time fiberglass instead of carbon-fiber in case I ever want to mount any telemetry device in the nosecone. Food-saver vacuum-bagged. Overkill as far as strength, but it does help to prevent the plywood from splitting when I drill it later.
