| This sea/horizon view in progress at the time of the 9/11 disaster took on a new meaning for the artist. The golden glow at the horizon line became a palpable existence of a city experiencing a meltdown. The sea and sky grew darker and more foreboding. Yet, the beauty is still there, as with a phoenix that will be reborn. | |
